(Reuters) Reuters reported a US F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iran today. After, additional reports [AP News] came of search and rescue helicopters being spotted in Iran. Shortly after, confirmation [AP News] by US officials of at least one pilot safely recovered. Al Jazeera mentioned that one search and rescue helicopter may have been hit, as well.
